About IRC

IRC was originally incorporated as the Institutional Research Corporation in Raleigh, North Carolina in 2000. Effective January 2002, Dr. Jan Upton, the Founder and President of IRC, relocated to the Columbus, Ohio metropolitan area and began operations as a sole proprietor with the new name of Institutional Research Consultants (registered with the state of Ohio). On August 1, 2008, IRC changed its structure to a Limited Liability Company with the new name of Institutional Research Consultants, Ltd. IRC maintains $2 million of general liability coverage.

IRC frequently partners with other small businesses and utilizes consultants who have the skills needed for specific projects. Such an approach ensures needed expertise at an affordable price.
